About the Role:
The Acute Care Nursing Professional Development Practitioner (NPD Practitioner) Sinai Hospital, under limited supervision, designs, develops, implements, and evalues comprehensive educion and professional development programs for the Acute Care Service Line, including Medical-Surgical units and Medical-Surgical units with Telemetry. Grounded in adult learning principles and aligned with the ANA Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards, this role promotes clinical excellence through onboarding oversight, competency validion, and -the-elbow educion. Candides should bring strong peri-anesthesia and/or critical care experience to effectively support high-acuity pient populions and complex procedural care. The NPD Practitioner partners with interdisciplinary leaders and frontline clinical team members as a facilitor, mentor, and advisor to advance quality improvement and ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based pient care.

Requirements:
Educion: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s degree preferred.
Licensure: Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license required; American Heart Associion issued BLS required.
Certificion: Nional certificion preferred (e.g., Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development, or ASTD); additional certificions as approprie, including AHA ACLS, NRP, PALS, and corresponding Instructor certificions.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Medical-Surgical units and/or Medical-Surgical units with Telemetry experience required; previous educion or teaching experience preferred.
