On EBBAAY (intentionally misspelled) - fully functional, previously owned, Living Water units have recently sold for for $350 to $500 not including shipping or cleaning kit.
Living Water is a pH-balancing, healthy alkaline water filter that connects to your sink and is used for drinking, cooking, and even cleaning purposes.
Provides acid-buffering alkaline water for drinking and cooking, right at your faucet or on your counter.
Produces acidic water for cleaning without chemicals
Generates water with excellent negative ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) for increased antioxidant properties
Easily installs to your existing faucet with no special plumbing or connect it under the sink and install their "flush-mount spigot" (spigot not included in this offering) if you are handy.
Vollara sells this machine (minus the cleaning kit) online for around $1500 new (with all the filters - two come with the unit), accessories, tubing.
The promotion literature says that alkaline water machines, like this one, are sold as medical equipment in Japan and they are FDA-approved for therapeutic use here in the US.. This Vollara machine uses second generation technology to produce alkaline water much faster and with a higher level of filtration than early Japanese or previous generation units.
The manual states the unit should be cleaned annually. I have not used it for about 3 years, so I am also providing you with two new filters and a complete citric acid cleaning kit (produced by Vollara) that has everything you need to perform that cleaning. I have performed the cleaning in the past and it is easy to do; all the instructions and chemicals are in the kit.
