The pictures show the unit in closed position not open. The picture will also show the welded section in the two tubes I had added to swing outside of dump body. These add ons are about 8" long-will still work for a typical pickup truck. Also, I have installed a lighting kit on this and do not plan to sell with mount. These are LED lights-they are parking lights, brake lights and turn signals with standard plug connector as shown. If you want the lights they are going to be 45.00 more. I do plan to use these on our other setup.
Ive been asked for various measurements so I have some below:
-The total width of the unit is 56 3/4"
-I added 10" of extension on both pieces
-the center of hitch to right side outside is 38 1/4" in closed postion.
-the engine bracket has a width of 22 7/8" and is 24" deep or long. It is designed for all Billy goat leaf loaders.
-it is 21" from main frame "face" to the tip of 2" receiver tube. In short, the receiver tube will go inside your hitch approximately 6" so the unit will be approximately 15" from back of vehicle. Of course hitches are different spacing from bumpers or hitch frames depending on pick up truck or cab and chassis config.
-the center of leaf loader unit will be 70" away from center of hitch when in open position. In other words it is 35" from center of leaf loader unit to end of right side of loader frame (when standing looking a back end of vehicle from behind). If swung open the motor will be 70" from center of hitch to center of motor or leaf loader assembly/leaf loader mount brackets.
