Looking for a safe and effective way to manage rodents while giving deserving cats a second chance? Maryland SPCA has several hardworking barn and working cats available for adoption!
These independent felines thrive in environments such as barns, warehouses, breweries, gardens, and workshops- providing natural pest control while enjoying a secure place to call home. Best of all, there is no adoption fee, and the Maryland SPCA will provide a crate to help with a smooth transition if needed.
Meet some of our available working cats:
Sock Puppet - At 5 years old, he has been here the longest and is having a difficult time adjusting to shelter life. He’s ready for a quiet place where he can flourish.
Aurora, Ernest, and Alfred – This trio came in together and are all around a year old. They can be adopted individually- or together for the perfect pest-control team!
Interested in adopting? Visit www.mdspca.org to complete an application, or stop by during open hours to meet them in person. Give these deserving cats a purpose, a home, and a fresh start! 🐾
