One of my neighbors bought this for his wife when she wad sick but te insurance company paid for a hospital bed so this just sat in his guest room with no mattress. He was going to buy an expending mattress off Amazon for it but didn't have to. He paid close to 400 for it. The back lists up by remote. Its light weight and easy to haul by folding it in half and unscrewing the legs. My wife and I have one of these type frame and its great for sitting up in bed, watching tv or eating
