I've moved and need to downsize. I have a handsome Empire bureau which needs a new home. It's 2nd-half of the 19th-century, and in nice condition. It has 4 drawers. Drawers work smoothly. The bureau is mahogany, with very nice grain. (See drawer closeup.) I bought this piece from an estate in old Guilford about 30 years ago.
Empire Bureau, 2nd half of the 19th century. Beautiful side profile. Brass around keyholes. (No keys or locks.) It's 43.75" tall, 44.35" wide, and 21.25" deep. (Needs a bit of veneer between the 3rd and 4th drawers.) Too, top is loose and needs to be glued down securely. (You can see a tiny gap if you look at the photos.)
Located on the ground floor. Easy to load.
$275.00
P.S. This bureau is the one on the left in the second photo. The bureau on the right is not available. Thanks.
