This Mahogany dresser is definitely priced to sell for only $75! Unfortunately I have to get rid of some of my projects to make room for some new furniture.
Back in 1858, George Widdicome and his four sons, all Civil veterans started a fine furniture in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Over the years they made many nice pieces of American furniture including this very nice dresser.
I had purchased this dresser a couple of years ago with the intention of refinishing it, however I just haven't had the time to do it. Honestly it is in good usable shape just like it is.
The mirror has some "ghosting" that is normal for one of this age. There is some minor veneer damage which is to be expected for furniture over a century old !Overall the dresser is in good condition although it is missing one on the original drawer pulls and one of the mirror bolts.
If you Google Widdicome Furniture, you may find how desirable this furniture is and the value that it holds. At $75 this is a real bargain for anyone who loves antiques.
The measurements are as follows:
44" wide x 32" high and 22" deep. Overall height including mirror is 60".
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this wonderful dresser.
