I have for sale 4 sheepskins from Sulfolk and Hamp-cross sheep and lambs I helped raise back in the 70s. They were salted and dried and subsequently tanned at Bucks County Fur Products in Quakertown Pennsylvannia. I've used them for decoration and for comfort when I was briefly confined to a wheelchair. Bucks County Fur tanned them so as to be washable by machine and/or by hand. Laundering instructions are on their website. These are 50 years old and have some deterioration near the edges in spots but overall there is plenty of life left in them. 2 are sheep pelts and 2 are lamb pelts $80 for the lot.
