It is called Feely Sealy because of the Tactile Feel of the resin compound Pellucida, which resembles whale scrimshaw that is called Balanite. It was meant to be handled. It is described as a Stress Reliever.
It was sold in the 1980's to earn money to save the baby Harp Seal..
It measures 3-1/2 inches long and 1-1/4 inches high.
