Position: Taproom Shift Manager
Job Type: Part-Time Manager
Hourly Wage: Base hourly rate of $8 + tips
Description:
This position will directly support the Taproom General Manager at Diamondback Brewing Company. As a shift manager you will be responsible for managing the front and back of house employees while also fulfilling customer orders for beer and food, and providing a high quality experience for everyone at the taproom.
Responsibilities:
-Enforce adherence to Opening and Closing Checklists for Front and Back of House
-Arrive for all shifts at least 10 minutes prior to all other staff members on shift
-Act as key holder for the taproom to unlock/lock the taproom for service
-Communicate directly with Taproom General Manager regarding staffing needs/issues
-Provide friendly and hospitable service for customers
-Fulfill beer and pizza orders while utilizing the POS system
-Maintain a clean and sanitary taproom and work environment
-Bus tables and run food when necessary
-Utilize dishwasher to clean foodware
-Provide customers with additional details on the beer and food menu
-Communicate and work with the other taproom and kitchen staff members
-Complete Inventory on Sundays to relay stock to Taproom Manager
Requirements:
-Must be able to work every Saturday and every other Sunday
-Must complete Alcohol Awareness Training and Background Check for becoming added as official manager on the liquor license
-Must complete ServSafe Certification
-Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
-Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
-Knowledge of different beer styles preferred but not required
-Keen communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment
