Together, we operate as a collaborative, mission-driven team that values cleanliness, consistency, and care in everything we do.

We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Production & Kitchen Porter to support sanitation, dishwashing, and general cleaning across both HEX Ferments’ production kitchen and the HEX Superette retail space. This role is essential to maintaining clean spaces, food safety, production flow, and a welcoming environment for our team and customers.

Schedule: 35-40 hours a week - Must be available Tuesday through Sunday - 12:30pm to 7:30pm

What You’ll Do / Core Responsibilities:
- Handle dishwashing and sanitation for dishes, tools, fermentation equipment, and kitchenware, and help keep all production and kitchen areas clean and organized.

- Daily and weekly facility cleaning, including:
Bathrooms
Mopping and sweeping floors
Front-of-house surface cleaning (windows, counters)
Deep cleaning projects
Trash, recycling and cardboard maintenance
Support team members with light food prep, utility tasks and general maintenance of all spaces

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate in Baltimore: $15 – $17/hr DOE
Pay is every week on Friday via direct deposit
Paid Time Off, Sick leave and select paid holidays after your first 90 successful days
