We are a locally owned restaurant in Baltimore seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead and grow our beverage program.
This is a full-time, hands-on management position with responsibility for both day-to-day bar operations and long-term beverage strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain seasonal cocktail menus
• Spirit, beer, and wine ordering
• Inventory control, costing, and waste management
• Bar staff scheduling and supervision
• Recipe documentation and standards
• Collaborating with the Chef on pairings, tasting dinners, and special events
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance
• Staff training and ongoing education
• Working service shifts
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Lead Bartender, or Beverage Director
• Strong cocktail knowledge (classics + creative builds)
• Solid understanding of cost control, margins, and inventory systems
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
