Experienced Cook/Instructor Full Time
Experience Part time position (weekends)
Baltimore City
Ensures compliance with health regulations and protects products throughout the service cycle from receiving to service.
Ensures that all food is prepared and served in accordance with safe food handling practices, and is held accountable for maintaining proper procedures and reporting violations.
Receives and properly stores food donations, ensuring accurate documentation for inventory management.
Plans menus as required,
Orients and trains kitchen workers to provide assistance with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup,
Ensures that sanitary conditions are maintained and cleans areas and equipment.
Maintains records and statistics associated with kitchen operations, ensuring accuracy for all documented information.
Maintains proper inventory levels, taking responsibility for monitoring stock, reducing waste, and reporting shortages.
Works independently focused on daily kitchen operations, while being ensuring efficiency in food quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate must possess strong leadership & coaching skills
Responsible for training residential clients in the safe handling, preparation, serving. & delivery of meals using a coaching base approach.
Role requires patience, mentor ship & the ability to support individuals with diverse needs while fostering skills development & independence
