We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation for our bed and breakfast. This role is essential to creating an excellent guest experience and requires consistency, efficiency, and pride in your work.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms after check-out, including:
- Making beds with fresh linens
- Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors)
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Clean and reset common areas (hallways, lounges, kitchens, dining areas if applicable)
- Launder, fold, and restock linens and towels
- Restock guest supplies (toiletries, coffee, paper products, etc.)
- Inspect rooms for damage, missing items, or maintenance issues and report promptly
- Ensure rooms are guest-ready before check-in time
- Follow cleaning checklists and property standards
- Safely handle cleaning supplies and equipment
- Secure the property after cleaning (lock doors, turn off lights, etc.)
Requirements
Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (hotel, Airbnb, B&B, or residential)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks (standing, bending, walking)
Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
Comfortable using basic technology (texting, apps, checklists)
Reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the U.S.
