MADE Hoops is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Weekend Merchandise Sales Associate to join our team during our upcoming basketball event next weekend in Baltimore, MD. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with people, and takes pride in presenting products in an organized and appealing way.
Responsibilities:
Set up and break down the merchandise table, ensuring a clean and professional display.
Accurately conduct open and closing inventory counts.
Process transactions using our Shopify POS portal (must have a reliable smartphone to run the system).
Provide outstanding customer service - greet customers, answer questions, and help them find the right items.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked merchandise area throughout the event.
Monitor merchandise levels and restock as needed.
Handle all card transactions (we are a cashless business).
Assist with packing up unsold merchandise at the end of the event and preparing items for transport.
Communicate effectively with MADE Hoops staff regarding inventory needs or customer issues.
Requirements:
Relevant retail, event, or sales experience (resume required).
Reliable transportation, must be punctual each day.
Responsive and communicative, check messages and coordinate with team promptly.
Professional and friendly demeanor, represent the MADE Hoops brand positively.
Smartphone with reliable data connection (for Shopify POS use).
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Strong attention to detail for inventory management.
