The Senior Relay Engineering Analyst position is based out of our Constellion Generion Solutions (CGS), Fort Smallwood site in Baltimore, MD.

Expected salary range of $128,700 to $143,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of Power plant operions. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical applicion and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulions.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of Power plant operions. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical applicion and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulions.
• Provide technical expertise and consultion through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. Has completed assigned skills and knowledge development training (applicable Advanced Engineering, EPRI, and Constellion University training or industry provided training) to develop expert level of knowledge in designed areas. Mentor other engineers in key knowledge and skills. Provides initial or complete task management of engineering issues.
• Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles
• Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configurion management and assuring th standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparion of plans and specificions.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommends equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or merial flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulions.
• All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)

Minimum Qualificions

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Engineering Technology, etc) and 6 years of reled industry experience OR
• Associe's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science Engineering, Engineering Technology, etc) and 8 years of reled industry experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 9 years of power or reled industry experience with 6 of the 9 years the exempt-level
• Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualificions

Apparus testing or hands on relay experience.

Field work experience a plus.
