We are a third-party quality assurance company. Our client has a position that will analyze and solve quality issues with a strong commitment to continuous improvement. The position will assist in the preparation and implementation of inspection plans, procedures, and inspector training. Participate in audits and applies fundamental statistical methods for process control. Collaborates with fellow team members to drive improvements in supplier quality through implementation of quality strategies and objectives.
Demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of Supplier Quality gained through education or experience.
Utilizes data and techniques to achieve Supplier Quality goals.
Uses existing Quality procedures and practices to make judgments with guidance and direction from
more senior level roles.
Proactively supports the Supplier Quality group by being accountable for their contributions in meeting
Communicates effectively with stakeholders such as external suppliers and internal stakeholders
through the exchange of information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Engineering discipline is preferred, Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial
Fundamental knowledge of Supplier Quality and understanding of functions such as Quality Assurance
and/or Supply Chain.
Willingness and skills to work effectively within a group and/or team.
Working knowledge in Automotive Industry quality tools, (8D, 5WHY, PPAP, FMEA, CP, PFLOW, APQP)
Direct engagement with suppliers to drive containment, root cause, and implementation activities.
Travel required less than 10%
Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Lean, Six-Sigma, RedX, ASQ CQA, CQE.
