Helmut Guenschel, Inc., manufacturer of Museum Quality Display Cases, is seeking an individual with experience with AutoCad and AutoDesk Inventor to be a part of our Design and Project Management team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and hard-working designer to create custom designs for our clients. The position involves a period of learning our systems hands on, calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and incorporating appropriate materials and hardware into shop drawings for client review, as well as manufacturing drawings for production.
The successful candidate will possess technical experience in either architectural design and detailing, millwork detailing, product design, and/or engineering. In addition, the successful candidate shall be a motivated self-starter who values teamwork as well as individual contribution/accountability and is passionate about advancing their career through their own performance. Attention to detail, commitment to deliverable quality, and a focus on continuous production improvement are essential. Work directly with metal workers, CNC-operators, furniture assemblers, and finishers to coordinate work.

Our Middle River manufacturing plant is located east of Baltimore.
Basic Requirements:
2-4 years Experience with AutoCad and 3D Modeling, AutoDesk Inventor preferred
Project Management experience appreciated
Background: U.S. Citizen or legal resident with ability to pass background investigation
Ability to travel daily to our location.
