Little Italy restaurant and bar is looking for a dishwasher / porter to help in our kitchen during dinner hours.
Temporary / part-time - but could lead to permanent position.
Location: Little Italy, Baltimore, MD
Pay: $16 / Hour
Schedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday | 4 PM to 11 pm (approximately, will vary each night)
The Role:
We are a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant looking for a hardworking individual to join our team during our peak weekend hours. You will be helping with dishwashing, bussing tables, organizing, and other tasks supporting the kitchen and bar staff as we prepare to open, and while we are open during dinner service. You will then be responsible for cleaning up dishes and the kitchen space before we leave for the night.
Key Responsibilities:
-Dish & Glassware: Clean dishes, pots, and pans.
-Bussing: Help clear and reset tables quickly to keep the dining room flowing.
-Restocking: Ensure servers and chefs have the clean plates, silverware, and supplies they need at all times.
-End-of-Night Cleanup: Manage trash and recycling removal and ensure the workspace is clean and ready for the next day.
Requirements:
-Availability: Must be able to work evening hours, and show up to work consistently and reliably.
-Communication: Must be able to speak and understand English to coordinate with the kitchen and floor staff.
-Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
-Physical Stamina: This is a high-energy role that requires being on your feet, lifting trays/bins, and moving quickly in a tight space.
-Reliability: We are a small team; we need someone we can count on every shift.
