Join a research study conducted by Dr. Epstein, at the National Institute on Drug Abuse aimed at developing an up-to-date tool for tracking opioid use in the Baltimore area. The study involves talking with participants about the types of opioids being used and sold, how they describe these substances, and how their day-to-day experiences align with laboratory findings that show the actual substances they were exposed to through urine screening during participation.
You may be eligible to join if they are 18 or older, have used opioids not received from a doctor, pharmacy, or clinic within the past 30 days, and can read, write, and understand English.

The study takes place at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus in Baltimore, and you will receive $50 for participation plus $10 for specimen collection, and transportation provided (via Uber Health).
