Patients on Medication-Assisted Treatments for Opioid Use Disorder Needed for a Sleep Disturbance Research Study
The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is seeking volunteers for a research study, who are currently enrolled in a treatment program for opioid use disorder (OUD) and are prescribed Methadone or Buprenorphine. This research study is evaluating if a sleep medication, Belsomra® (suvorexant), is effective in improving sleep during OUD recovery.
You may be eligible if you are: between the ages of 18-70, currently enrolled in an addiction treatment program for OUD, and currently prescribed Methadone or Buprenorphine.
Participation requires 3 screen visits (two overnight stays), and 6 follow up visits (one overnight stay). Compensation up to $1205 will be provided.
