The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is seeking volunteers for a research study, who are currently
enrolled in a treatment program for opioid use disorder (OUD) and are prescribed Methadone or
Vivitrol. This research study is evaluating if a sleep medication, Belsomra® (suvorexant), is effective in
improving sleep and stress during OUD recovery.
You may be eligible if you are: between the ages of 21-65, currently enrolled in an addiction treatment
program for OUD, currently prescribed Methadone or Vivitrol.
Participation requires a 2 screen visits that last about an hour, and 9 weekly visits that last about 30
minutes. Compensation up to $930 will be provided.
