If you’re a non-smoker and are 18-60 years old, you could qualify for a research study at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), located in Baltimore, Maryland. Qualified participants receive approximately $420 in compensation. You may qualify for this study if you are a non-smoker and have never been diagnosed with depression.
Participating in this study requires 2-3 visits over the course of 1-3 months, including two MRI scans, two blood draws, and questionnaires. You will also be asked to wear a nicotine patch for several hours during the study.
