WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators to assist with loading and moving materials (e.g., sand, gravel, aggregate).
• Assist in maintaining equipment by performing routine checks, cleaning, lubricating, and ensuring machinery is in good working condition.
• Transport materials to various locations within the plant, including stockpiles, processing areas, and loading zones.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed, including digging, lifting, loading, unloading, and clearing debris from work areas.
• Monitor and ensure safe material handling, following proper procedures for loading, unloading, and transporting materials around the quarry.
• Assist with site preparation for construction projects by grading, leveling, and clearing the land for various operations.
• Follow safety guidelines and work closely with other team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including MSHA standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor.
• Help with daily setup and teardown of equipment, ensuring tools and machinery are in place for the next shift.
• Assist in the maintenance of worksite cleanliness, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
