I have for sale a 2000 Honda Accord LX with 251414 miles. It is a 5 speed with a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder.
The vehicle has a lot of miles, but drives really well. I purchased it from the original owner ~2 years ago, and have only occasionally driven it putting about 4,000 miles on it since with no issues at all. Even the AC still works in the vehicle.
Work done to the vehicle since my purchase includes preventative maintenance such as a full tune up (plugs, wires, distributor cap, valve cover gasket) and timely oil changes. The starter has also been replaced. The exhaust is also all new and of stock volume. Additionally, the vehicle has new sway bar end links and a front motor mount.
The first owner kept up with the vehicle extremely well which is proven through how well the car drives at its’ age and mileage. Unfortunately I don’t have records, only word of mouth, but the clutch has said to have been done as well as timing belt and water pump. The clutch is very strong with 0 slippage. Every gear is smooth with no grinds or pop outs. The engine runs smooth but burns a very small amount of oil between changes.
The underside of the car is clean, but rust is beginning to form in the quarter panels. The car will probably need tires at some point. The current ones have decent tread but are fairly old.
This vehicle is far from perfect but runs and drives really well. I wouldn’t personally hesitate to drive it anywhere.
The Maryland title for the vehicle is clean and in my name.
