I bought this car from the original owner, who did all his own repairs. He said the car had been garaged for the past couple of years. The car runs and drives, and has a lot of potential for someone who can do car repairs, which I cannot. It ran great on the freeway during the test drive.
Turns out it needs struts and a new ignition switch. Since I bought it, it is showing the code: PO455, evaporative emission system. I really like the car, it has positive vibes, but I am not a mechanic, sadly, and lack the know-how to do the repairs. I wanted to give it to my daughter, but she wants to get her own (probably that needs less repairs) car. She is driving it, though, for now, so it definitely runs. But for someone who knows cars it wouldn't be a big deal to get this SUV back to its glory days.
I hope someone buys it who can fix it up because it has a lot of potential.
