Nolan Ryan - Hall of Fame Pitcher. Inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame on July 25, 1999. Complete issues of "The Daily Star" . . . local newspaper (Oneonta NY) covering the Induction Weekend events from Saturday - July 24, 1999 and Monday - July 26, 1999.

Each newspaper postmarked with the special Induction Day Cancellation (July 24th) or Game Day Cancellation (July 26th) from the Cooperstown NY post office located across the street from the Hall of Fame.

HOF Note: The 1999 historic class was headlined by three first-ballot legends: Nolan Ryan, George Brett and Robin Yount. They were joined by Veterans Committee selection Orlando Cepeda and Negro Leagues/pioneer inductees Nestor Chylak, Frank Selee and Joe Williams.

Both newspapers are Mint Condition.
