Paul Marie Cesar Gerald Pau (1848-1932) a famous French general of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The medal features a full face bust, wearing his military uniform, with a battery of French 75mm field guns in the background. A great historical figure. The reverse features General Pau, mounted on a horse at a full gallop, arm with sword raised, charging. The French medal weighs 41.99 grams, and a diameter of 49.9mm. Like new condition. Has no date but is from circa 1915-1916. HTF "Hard To Find" $40
