Up for sale is a fascinating piece of history; a genuine 10 million Mark emergency banknote (Notgeld) from the Weimer Republic era in Germany. This specific note is a emergency voucher issued by the famous Porzellanfabrik Mitterteich Aktiengesellscaft (Mitterteich Porcelain Factory) and drawn on the Karl Schmidt Bankhouse. It represents the height of the historic German hyperinflation crisis of 1923. Authentic crisp paper with original serial number ("S.9"). Distinct purple factory stamp on the lower left.
