On the reverse side (back) of this coin it features the obsolete Coat of Arms of Upper Canada and below that it says ONE HALP "F" PENNY. The "F" in HALP looks like a "P" (See Pictures) These tokens were part of a private coinage system used before the British resumed supplying official copper coins. The government bought back and melted down these tokens in 1873 after the switch to decimal currency. A beautiful RED bright coin with the ERROR! $100 B/O
