Issued by The People's Bank of China in 1951. This banknote belongs to the first series of Renminbi banknotes, which were issued from 1948 to 1955. This note features a pastoral scene with sheep and mountains. This 5,000 Yuan note is also known as the "Living in the Desert" note. I purchased from an auction, so it isn't certified but it looks uncirculated and because I paid a fair price, I charge a fair price. $75
