The reverse features a large "5" in the center, surrounded by "DEUTSCHES REICH" and the date "1876" with "PFENNIG" on the bottom middle. The obverse features an Imperial German Eagle with a large crown above a ribbon and a shield on the eagles breast, mint mark "A" at the bottom, indicating it was struck at the Berlin Mint. A die crack, jagged line running through the right side of the the coins reverse, starting near the upper rim extending down through the eagle's wing and exiting out the rim, just below the middle of the coin. Weighs 2.3 grams and 18mm diameter. $10
