Made of copper, the obverse features a young Queen Victoria facing left. The reverse features a crown above the amount "HALF FARTHING" and the date "1844" They were originally struck to be used Ceylon, and were made legal tender in the United Kingdom in 1842 (KM#738) The "F" in FARTHING is higher than the other letters and top part of the "F" is disconnected from the body. The "E" in REGINA is tilted and higher than the other letters. $50 B/O
