Selling an exceptionally well-preserved 1841 6 Kreuzer silver coin issued by the historic German State of Hesse-Darmstadt. This coin is currently stored safely in a protected, hand-labeled numismatic cardboard mount, the mount contains its technical specifications. Unlike most circulated billon-silver coins from this era, this piece has survived with stunning structural details intact. Coin Specification: Issuer; Grand Duchy of Hesse-Darmstadt (German States) Ruler; Grand Duke Louis II (Ludwig II) Mintage Year; 1841, Catalog Number; (KM #306) Composition; Silver (0.350 fineness) Weight; 2.46 grams. The obverse features a crowned Shield with the Rampant Lion. The alternating horizontal bar variations across the lion's body remain sharp and highly distinct. On the reverse the central denomination text "6 KREUZER" and the "1841" date numerals features crisp, undamaged serif lines.
