A pair of handmade Black / African Americana sock / rag dolls from the mid 1950's. The boy has on hand-stitched blue plaid overalls with red ricrac, with red yarn tassels on his (sock-cuff) hat, legs and one arm (the tassel on the other arm is missing). The girl has on a hand-stitched green jumper-like dress, also with tassels on her leg, arms and hat. Both dolls have painted on eyes. They are both about 13" tall. Great gift for collector. Very collectable.
