✅ Requirements

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy civil or road construction
• Strong knowledge of DOT specifications and asphalt testing standards
• Experience with density testing (nuclear gauge certification preferred)
• Background in asphalt lab testing procedures and reporting
• Experience managing field and lab teams
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Oversee field and lab quality control operations for asphalt and road construction projects
• Manage density testing (nuclear gauge and core sampling)
• Supervise asphalt testing including gradation, temperature, binder content, and mix compliance
• Review daily reports, logs, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and inspectors
• Ensure compliance with DOT standards, safety regulations, and contract requirements
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective action plans
• Prepare reports for DOT agencies, clients, and internal leadership
• Lead and mentor QA/QC technicians and lab personnel
