For sale is my beloved Pearson 26, "Caledonia", which I'm selling due to some life changes. I purchased this boat approximately 5 years ago, and have done some minor work to it, but mostly have just maintained it largely in the same condition as I purchased it.
Sails: Are in great condition. They have a lot of life in them, still. Comes with a 150% genoa, and a mainsail. Also has a storm jib (I think thats what it is)
Outboard Motor: Honda 100 longhsaft(10HP)- probably early 80s. Runs pretty smoothly, needs a new fuel line and filter. Very reliable motor. A single tank of gas will probably last you all summer.
Inflatable Dinghy: Small 3 person inflatable dinghy. Loses air slowly, but will last through a weekend or maybe a week. Comes with a 6HP 4-stroke short shaft motor and external fuel tank. Also have hypalon fabric and glue to patch an area along the transom.
Cabin interior is pretty standard for Pearson 26s. V-berth is cozy for two people. Sleeps up to four for a weekend, two for longer. Has a table that converts into a "double" bed.
Sails great in light winds, so you can enjoy the light wind late summer days on the bay. This is a really good entry-level cabin cruiser, and one of the most common boats on the east coast, so you can usually find someone who is familiar with one.
It is currently on the hard due to the end of the season, but literally just came out of the water today. You can easily throw this boat in the water and sail off.
If you are interested, I can make arrangements for you to look at it.
