The interior has 4" foam cushions with Sunbrella fabric and pillows in very good condition. The cabin has a light and airy feel, with 6’ of headroom. Head replaced about 6 years ago with pump out (no more pulling the tank to drain manually). Electric galley faucet with 15-gallon water tank. There is a 35 Watt fixed solar panel and Group 27 110ah deep cell battery with 20amp waterproof PWM Solar charge controller. A 9.9hp Suzuki 4 cycle twin cylinder outboard motor (purchased new in 2013) with less than 60hrs. Fiberglass and stainless swim platform for easy entry and exit from both the dock and the water. A stainless-steel single burner stove in excellent condition. Overinsulated ice box. Anchor chain and rode (vinyl coated and stainless steel 14' chain 200' 1/2" Nylon). A 13# Danforth is in perfect condition. A Garmin 78 Color GPS with mount and Sirius Satellite radio (service activation required) tied to a new 20w Digital Amplifier (low 2amp power consumption but drives 6x9 speakers very well). You can also use any iPod/MP3/Phone with the 3.5mm plug. The Bimini is not in great condition but the frame is in very good condition (it's a standard small model).

She has a 150% Genoa on roller furling completely replaced in 2018. Her deck, steaming, and mast-head lights were also replaced in 2018. Her original main is getting tired but is still well serviced in light winds and with 2 reef points works very well in strong winds. Getting her up to 5knts with less than 20* heel is a cake walk for anyone, in fact you can hit 5 with just the Genoa open, even in light air. Her PHRF rating of 246 doesn't show when you consider the Helms 24 was a silver race winner for years and several have taken the Wednesday night race in spectacular fashion... All with 6' of headroom in the cabin and enough sleeping arrangements for a family of four. She points extremely well into the wind even with the older main (the main track adjustment really helps with this).

She's an older boat but a simple and extremely well designed and laid out one. She's tight and solid with no known soft spots. She sails extremely well, cruises like a dream and makes getting on the water an attractive and financially possible reality. Whether you’re new to sailing, getting back into it or just looking for the perfect cruising boat you can single hand to the anchor or dock bars, you just found it.
