This classic MacGregor 19 Power Sailer is a versatile, trailerable hybrid—perfect for solo or small-crew adventures: day sails, shallow-water camping, or extended cruising. At ~1,800 lbs dry (without ballast), it's easy to tow and launch. Reliable performance with top speeds of 10–12 mph under power when loaded. Trailer it from Maryland to Florida in under 24 hours for instant warm-water escapes!
Key Specs & Upgrades:
Engine: 2021 Tohatsu 20HP fuel-injected 4-cycle outboard with electric start—very low total hours (under 50). The 20HP is perfectly sufficient and ideal for the MacGregor 19's lightweight design—plenty of reliable push for efficient cruising/motoring without excess power, weight, or fuel burn.
Sails & Rigging: Roller furling Genoa for easy cockpit handling, main sail, colorful spinnaker—all in great shape. Brand new extra lines throughout. New custom Bimini.
Fuel/Systems: New/upgraded 6-gallon fuel tank connected to engine + extra 5-gallon can. New battery.
Electric Hybrid Upgrade Option: ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Evo (quiet 4–5 knots) on new adjustable-height auxiliary motor mount. Hydrogeneration recharges batteries while sailing or motoring—silent fish trolling, unlimited-range exploring. Premium eco-hybrid setup available (high-value add-on in today's import market).
Power/Off-Grid: 200W solar panel (perfectly sized for the boat) with controller, marine battery, 300W ZeroCore portable power station, USB fan, new LED lights.
Navigation/Safety: New Simrad chartplotter/fish finder for GPS/charting/navigation, new navigation lights, new long-range handheld VHF, boat hook, marine horn, new anchor & ropes, first aid kit, 2 life vests, battery starter.
Bilge/Pumps: New automatic electric bilge pump + spare included, manual bilge pump.
Comfort/Interior: Butane/propane hybrid stove, never-used porta-potty with gel packs/bags, portable shower/sink with large-capacity water tank, extra swim ladder (attach anywhere). Original inside cushions in great shape. New teak tiller & cover; beautiful custom teak dinette table handmade by previous owner.
Hull/Maintenance: Recent powerwash (bottom completely clean), CPP antifouling bottom paint applied mid-October 2025. Centerboard cable recently replaced with official Blue Water Yachts part (professional job—boat blocked for it).
Additional Extras: Marine-grade dock hose, 4 Brownell boat stands (extremely valuable for DIY bottom painting/maintenance—eliminates yard fees–a set of new stands alone can cost over 1k).
Trailer: Completely refurbished summer 2025—very good condition, ready to roll.
This is a true turnkey package—everything you need to sail or motor away today with the reliable gas outboard, and Brownell boat stands add immense value for DIY projects at home. Boat is fully assembled (mast up, rigging on) but disassembles easily for trailering. Low-maintenance, fun, and capable explorer. Be in Florida waters tomorrow. Cruise to the Bahamas this winter!
This Mac 19 is a unique representation of an already rare model that never fails to turn heads and put smiles on faces. The 19 is similar in performance to Macgregor's wildly popular and enduring 26X and 26M power sailers, the 19 being the original prototype. 19ft offers many advantages over larger models with cheaper dock fees, easier and cheaper maintenance, better maneuverability especially singling handing and solo docking, and they can arguably go further and faster than their larger cousins. Excellent design is hard to find with only 1000 19s made in the 90s. The eco-hybrid setup makes it a modern classic.
Inspections welcome. Serious buyers—contact for more information, videos, or to discuss pricing with the electric upgrade or other options.
