Giant TCR C2 Road Bike
Full carbon fiber frame and fork...18 pounds
Shimano Ultegra drivetrain
Medium frame...ideal for someone 5'7"–5'11"
I no longer ride my Giant TCR C2 road bike, so I’ve decided to sell it. I bought this amazing bike in 2006 (over $2000 back then) and only put between 600-700 miles on it.
If you are not familiar with road bikes, the Giant TCR is a genuine all-rounder race bike. The full carbon frame and fork offer a lightweight, efficient, and smooth ride and the groupsets are top of the line Shimano Ultegra. The Giant TCR C2 is known for its stiff frame, which means less flex and more speed when you’re climbing or sprinting.
I never cared for the clipless pedals (pedals that clip to a cleat on the bottom of a cycling shoe) so I switched to the toe cage type. I’m including the original clipless pedals and a pair of Specialized shoes, size 10 1/2. Also included: the original saddle, a cycle computer (needs a new battery), air pump and a set of cassette sprockets in case you want to change the gear ratio.
I just spent $200 to replace one of the shifters and cable which seized from non use. The new shifter is not Ultegra, since they no longer make that part. The bike shop also retaped the drop bars.
This bike is in excellent condition and is ready to ride!
