Here is a great old 1908 drycell battery powered doorbell. It came from a mansion in the San Francisco, Ca. area. It was the latest and greatest new invention of its time letting folks know when someone was at your front door!
Made of steel it was made to last a long time. The clapper is there and it does in fact still work.
I got it at an auction in the Bay area back around 1997. It came from a mansion that was rebuilt and stood on Knob Hill. If interested please call Jerry in Joppa, Md. Thank You
