Hand-painted scene from the Persian / Iranian Shahnameh / Shahnama Book of Kings on silk. Would make a great unique Nowruz gift / a nice focal piece for a living room.
Fairly large: 36" x 25" frame, double matted cloth piece is 28" x 18". Scene is a detail from "The Musician Barbad Hiding in a Tree" or "Barbad the Concealed Musician". It pictures Khusraw and his court enjoying a Nowruz feast which makes this a great Nowruz gift.
