One of a kind raku sculpture ceramic wall hanging. Texture and layers add elements of interest. Wall hanging. Texture and layers add elements of interest. This mysterious and exotic sculpture is signed on the back by the artist and is a perfect addition to any collection. Sculpture contains a rawhide leather cord used to hang on the back of the face, perfect for hanging or even propping up on a shelf. Somewhat curved yet lightly square-shaped face with cut out eyes and mouth. Feather embellishments gives it a special tribal look
The patina of metallic looking glazes gives me the impression it was a Raku fired piece and very little sign of wear gives the sculpture a very special charm and character. There are no damages. It comes into its own as a decorative object on a wall. Exquisite glazes with patina of metallic colors that change on the angle of the light hitting the piece.
