Medium size electrical contractor in need of a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Controller. Must have 10+ years of bookkeeping experience.
Job responsibilities, but not limited to:
Coordinate PO's with foremen
Make sure bills are paid when required and checks are collected and deposited
Communicate with PM’s and foremen for billing purpose and correction when applicable
AIA billing on IAC/PSCP Forms, AIA G702
Monitoring the MDOT MBE participation for capital improvement projects
Process weekly for all employees
Compile and submit qtrly reports including 941’s, 940’s, state unemployment
Compile and submit W2 forms
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Process certified payroll
Complete Bank account reconciliations
Budgeting – job cost, prepare income statement and cash flow forecasts and expense budgets.
Prepare half yearly and yearly financial reports for external CPA.
Hiring process – drug tests, etc.
Organize background checks
Enroll in health insurance
Organize Apprenticeship training
Prepare yearly WC audit
All business back office management tasks.
Work on office and business licenses as required
Maintain proper insurance and workers comp requirements
Assisting Project Managers
Stable work history with work references
Experience in construction a plus
Extremely organized, great communication skills, attention to detail
Microsoft Office proficient
Adobe Acrobat proficient
Foundation software experience a plus
Pass a drug test
