My growing medical and marketing communications business needs a short-term intern. Position initially is for a few months, but could become a 1-year option. College sophomore or junior preferred. Need someone skilled in 2.0 media like Facebook and Twitter. Tweeting for the company is likely to be a big part of your responsibilities. I have 20 years experience in developing marketing materials and will teach you that in exchange for your 2.0 knowledge.

If you're going to write for me, you should already show a talent for non-fiction writing (e.g., magazine articles, press releases, newsletters). That means GOOD spelling and grammar; mistakes in answering this ad will get you automatically eliminated. Want someone with a good mind for strategic creativity (I encourage strong ideas) but you can't be afraid of grunt work, like sending out letters. If you have graphic skills or web work, great! Never know when that could get come in handy.

I'm in the Owings Mills area, but you'll be working from your home (or another locale). Must have your own computer, email. I'll need you two hours twice a week; I'm willing to be flexible on days changing if needed. But you MUST be reliable. Don't tell me you'll be reporting in on Monday at 10 a.m.--and then I can't find you.
