Imagine your grandmother at home alone unable to prepare meals for her self or your uncle who is in a wheel chair being unable to leave his house....
Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland is a human-services volunteer based agency. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of homebound individuals through nutritious meals, personal contact and related services.
What does homebound mean?
Our clients are unable to grocery shop or cook for themselves.
How can you help?
Use your own vehicle to pick up and distribute hot and cold meals to our clients. Delivery takes place between 10:30am and 1:30pm, but only takes about an hour. Give your homebound neighbors an hour a month or more!
We are currently seeking volunteers in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties.
