2001 I wrote a song and sang it to a local dj over the phone and got broadcast on the #1 morning radio station in Baltimore. I even had guitar accompaniment by another dj at the station studio as I sang it. Then the next morning as I'm getting ready for work they played it again at the peak of the morning rush hour. They played the song every day that week. They sent me the recording of it on cassette and I had it put on cd . It's taken me nine long years to finally have the song commercially recorded mixed and mastered. Now it's finished and I'm just waiting for the money to send it out to have copies made. I've put the radio version of the song on the ep along with three other original songs that I recorded in LA in 2004. You can preview rough mixes of whats on the ep right here on this site. Now here is the best part of this story. The guy playing guitar on the radio version Maynard is currently the producer and co host of Baltimore's #1 radio talk show. http://www.ednorris.com He's on the radio from 5 am till 10 am every weekday. The other dj The one that actually put me on the radio is the king of Baltimore radio personalities. http://www.steverousemedia.com The show I was on was on the air for 17 years. I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Since I have 2 of Baltimore's most well known radio personalities in my story the Baltimore Sunpaper and several other newspapers are interested in covering it as soon as I have the finished product for sale. I'd say within a month.


For years I've had many people say to me Man you have a really nice voice You ought to do something with it. Man thats a good band you ought to do something with it.. Man that fishin tune is s good song You ought to do something with it...Now I am doing something with it.
