Why waste gasoline (which is projected to cost $4.00 per gallon by summer) plus drive for 6 to 10 hours to the Carolina shores when you can save time and money by vacationing in our condo in beautiful, sunny Ocean City, Maryland?
We are accepting reservations to rent our oceanfront Ocean City, MD condo during the summer of 2008. The rentals run from Saturday to Saturday/ JULY-SEPTEMBER ONLY.
Our condo is a large (1000 square feet) direct oceanfront with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and it has a large family room.
Both the building and our condo are truly oceanfront. This is not a building that sits sideways (technically ocean block) and is advertised as being “oceanfront”. The photo below was taken from our private balcony. It shows the great view you will have of the un-crowded beach that is just steps away. Our condo is the “real deal”. Our summer home is located at 127th St and oceanfront in the Tides Edge condominium building in North Ocean City. The Boardwalk is a short 15-minute drive or to save gas, the Ocean City bus stops two blocks away.
Our condo is located a small low-rise building (only 20 units) that are mostly owner occupied and quiet. There is plenty of room to spread out on the beach. You are away from the crowds that are further south near the boardwalk and by the high rise buildings.
Our condo is in close to pristine condition. Renovations were completed in 2003 – 2004, and it was almost fully refurnished in 2001 – 2003. Our condo sleeps 6 in comfort.
There are 2 reserved parking spaces that are less than 25 steps from the elevator. Use of the elevator is optional. There are only 15 stairs from our floor to the beach level. You are not at the mercy of the elevator as in many medium to high rise buildings. Talk about convenience!
Rent is $2,100.00 for most full weeks in prime season, plus 10.5% tax (MD & Worcester County) and a refundable security deposit. The rent is a little more for the week of August 4–11 (White Marlin Open Week) and $1,800 per week during September. Sorry, but we do not rent for mini weeks or extended weekends.
Our condo is not a traditional Ocean City rental unit/investment property. Most Ocean City rentals are dumps. We treat our condo as we do our home – it is close to pristine in condition! No disappointments here.
We only rent from early July through mid September, and ONLY TO FAMILIES AND RELATED COUPLES. As a result it is a much nicer and cleaner condo than those rented through local realtors, and by most private parties.
