Hi, I am a surgery resident at hopkins, and bought this house 1/2 block south of "the avenue" in Hampden almost one year ago.
As you can see, the place is beautiful, and has it all: brand new appliances, washer/dryer, central AC and heat, security system, cable, wireless internet, gas grill out back (with fence and storage shed), easy parking,front porch, etc.

The location is perfect: literally a 10 minute door-to-door drive down I-83 to the medical campus, I can see "The avenue" from my front porch, 15min walk to undergrad shuttle stop, 5 min drive to superfresh, 10min drive to whole foods, easy access to Towson, a 15min walk to the light rail stop, a 15min walk to the undergrad campus.

I am looking for someone to rent out the front bedroom and share the rest of the place until my fiancee arrives in June of 2009. There is a nice white desk in the room currently, as well as a queen-sized bed/mattress. I am asking $650 plus utilities (electric, gas, water, cable/internet, currently running @ $150 per month [thank you BGE]). Parking is easy to find on the street, no permit required. I park out back on the parking pad, and would consider letting you park there for a negotiable fee if you're anal about your car.

The lease duration and furniture in the front bedroom is negotiable, and I have storage space in the shed out back as well as the basement.

The only thing to consider is that it is a 1.5 bath (would have to share shower). There are 3 bathroom sinks in the place (two in the upstairs bathroom) and I have had no problems sharing the shower with my last housemate.

I am open minded, and only ask that you help keep the place clean (kitchen in particular) and let me get some sleep post-call.

Hi! I have one room I'm looking to sublet in a three-bedroom apartment from June to the end of August. You must be a hopkins grad student or researcher to be eligible. The apartment has a full living room with large windows, a full sized kitchen with dishwasher and island counter, a dining room, and a patio looking out onto the backyard. Laundry facilities are located on-site, and the apartment is less than 10 minutes away (walking) from Giant, the Rotunda mall, Superfresh, and the strip mall by Superfresh. The apartment is located in the Roland Park neighborhood which is safe and quiet. If you have a car, it is almost always easy to find street parking very close to the apartment.

I think you will find the rent to be relatively cheap. The base rent for the room that is becoming available is $425 a month (gas/electric/cable/internet extra � but we are splitting them among three people).
