I am a JHU student who got a room in the Carlyle apartment to sublet from 5/12 to 8/11. The time is negotiable and extendable. (If you like, my extend the lease with the company after 8/12). I prefer someone who can stay no less than 2 months. .
It is in the most safe area around the JHU Homewood campus. (I saved 1/3 of my car insurance after moving here.) Also, it only takes within 7~8 minutes to walk to the campus.
You'll have your own private room. It can be either full furnished or not. (Depends on what you want. If you don't need the furnitures, I'll sell or throw them away) The bathroom is shared with one roommate, who is also a JHU student and spends most of his time staying in the library (often til midnight).
You'll also need to share utility with him. About 15$ per month (depends on how heavily you use the AC).
We got on-site laundry and wireless network (paid separately). You'll also have access to the swimming pool and the gym (just renovated and added in lots of new equipments).
